Bamako is super fine with a 1st year histogram of 16.8 and second year of 17.5 AFD. He took 3rd place at his first show at PAOBA in a very competitive, large class of white juvenile males.
His buttery soft fiber has matchstick bundles that part like a book. Bamako's fiber displays fantastic architecture, a high frequency, high amplitude crimp and excellent fiber coverage. He is conformationally very straight and correct with a thick, dense bone structure.
Bamako is a 1/2 accoyo Caligula grandson and has inherited the characteristics common to all good quality Caligula offspring. His sire is a full accoyo Caligula son with an exceptionally dense fleece. His dam is a lovely medium fawn girl with exceptional crimp and a very fine fleece. She has won numerous awards for her super soft fleece, including best crimp and best handle.
In addition to being a very nice quality junior herdsire, Bamako is very gentle and easy to handle. He is obstacle trained and has been shown by not only our kids but by some of their friends as well, including a 4 year old!
