Mount Airy Alpaca Company

The Mount Airy Alpaca Company is owned by Kate and Tom Perez.

We had an alpaca farm in Mount Airy, Maryland for 9 years where we were involved in all aspects of alpaca care from alpaca breeding to alpaca shearing, alpaca halter training, alpaca showing, alpaca fleece preparation and hand spinning and we made and sold alpaca garments from our own alpaca herd.  We taught many others how to shear, skirt, prepare and hand spin their alpaca fleece as well.

Due to Tom's illness from Sarcoidosis, we were forced to give up our alpaca farm.  However, we still write alpaca articles, give alpaca lectures and sell our alpaca care DVD, Alpaca Care for Beginners, We Walk You Through It.
