Chloe is the daughter of Jezebel, a true black dam (pictured with Chloe above) and Camelot, a true black sire who won 2nd in his large class at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee and Best Fleece overall at the ABC show. Jezebel has also won many 1st place ribbons and 1 best fleece overall for her 2 year old fleece. Both parents have beautiful color and fineness.
There is little doubt that Chloe will reproduce black or gray with the proper breeding and, as my super-knowledgeable alpaca breeder friend Amanda, says, the blacks and grays out of fawn are that much finer and softer for having come out of a lighter color!
This female brings other genetic pluses as well, including the very desirable Vicuna patterning, the gray-type spotted fleece and a super famous Suri great-grandfather (Acero Marka's Sergio.) For those of you too smart to buy into the idea that we should all try to breed the exact same Accoyo clones within an already limited gene pool, THIS GIRL offers a potent mix of diverse yet highly desirable genetics! But that's not all folks! Chloe was halter trained by our most decorated veteran of the show ring. She's very friendly and handleable without being bratty.
