100% Alpaca Felted Hat
This is the only product shown on this site that is not made at the Mount Airy Alpaca Company. I don't felt hats. I bought this one at a conference in Ohio. It was made by a woman from Texas. I include it as a service to show others what felted alpaca looks like. This hat was felted by a real pro and it shows. It looks just as beautiful as any high quality sheep's wool felted hat but it's much softer and warmer than a wool hat of the same weight.
So, if you think that felted alpaca hats have to be hairy and crude looking, think again! There are just many more inexperienced alpaca felters than expert ones.
