Her name is French for "little queen" and it was also my mother's middle name.

Reinette was born on October 20, 2004. Her dam is Cassandra and her sire is our own, Valentino. She has reddish fawn fleece with the excellent crimp of her sire coupled with the cute face of her dam. Her bite is good and her body is sturdy and straight. Reinette has lot's of personality and is very friendly but not overly-friendly. She is very well trained as was shown at the Great Frederick Fair in September, 2005 by my 10 year old neighbor and myself. She helped me to win a blue ribbon in showmanship. This includes training in obstacle, Public Relations, Showmanship and even costume class see photo below.




Reinette represents the 3rd generation of our breeding program. She is the granddaughter of our two first alpacas, Lanark's Latte and Lanark's Primrose.
